Welcome to the Family Farm! For over 150 years, our farm has been in the business of growing! Since 1848, it has been owned and operated by the Green’s, passing down through the family, developing these hills into one of Broome County's most productive farms.
In 1920, we began our orchards by planting 40 acres of apple trees. We added strawberries in 1930, storage in 1942 and blueberries in 1972. Today, our storage rooms can hold 32,000 bushels of apples and our lands are filled with some of the best that Nature has to offer! When in season, we offer fresh vegetables, pears, plums, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, cherries and over a dozen varieties of apples in our Big Red Farm Market. We also offer U-PICK seasons for strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, fall raspberries and apples. For specific times and field availabilities, please give us a call!
The Apple Dumpling Café is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 10:30am and lunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Sunday we serve breakfast only from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Our Apple Packs are available through March. Our apple packs are offered in four different arrangements and your favorite apple variety! Each apple is cushioned against damage and your gift arrives fresh and tasty anywhere in the continental United States! While you are here, be sure to say hello to Winnie, Katy, Chloe, Houdini, Porshe, Eva, Bessie, Blossom, and Phoebe. They're our friends out in the Critter Corral.
